2-1. Establish an Office of Community Engagement (OCE).

Job description for Director of Office of Community Engagement will be written and this position will be filled.

2-2. Develop a business plan to guide the work of the OCE, including but not limited to:

a. Supporting the CETF in its work (successful practices, guidebook, incentives);

b. Facilitating collaboration between the University community and external stakeholders to determine highest priority regional needs;

c. Matching community inquiries to appropriate FAU units or departments;

d. Maintaining and updating a list of all University outreach activities;

e. Creating an effective means for documenting and representing the outreach activities of faculty, students and staff.

2-3. Seek external funding to supplement University dollars to fund the work of the OCE.
