Sigma Delta Pi is the honor society devoted exclusively to students of Spanish in four-year colleges and universities. It is also the largest foreign language honor society in existence with over 170,000 members.
FAU's Rho Omicron chapter has been awarded Honor Chapter for the past two years for its outstanding activities. Our members are provided leadership opportunities and an enhanced résumé. Active members are also eligible for study abroad scholarships, research grants, and honor awards.
Students who excel academically in Spanish Studies may be eligible for membership. For details on how to become a member, please contact the society adviser, Dr. Nancy Poulson (npoulson@fau.edu).
