The School of Public Administration's International Leadership and Management Institute is active this summer with three international training programs from East Asia. One of these programs is funded by the Asia Development Bank. The first summer program is a two-week Publishing Industry Training program, with 22 delegates from Vietnam, June 10-23, 2012. All are high ranking government officials, including two delegates at the cabinet level (Vice Ministers).  In addition to classroom orientations, the delegates visited the Sun-Sentinel's printing press building in Deerfield Beach, then flew to New York City to visit Harper Collins (a publishing company), and the American Booksellers Association. The delegates thanked Dr. Saunders for their enjoyable campus experiences, and for allowing them to stay in the Innovation Village Apartments

Dr. M.J. Saunders presented a gift to the delegation leader, Dr. Nguyen Duy Hung, CEO and Editor in Chief, the National Political Publishing House, Vietnam.
