Student Government Program Board

Do you want to get involved on campus? Do you like planning events? With Program Board  you have the chance to do both!

Student Government Program Board is looking for several motivated and creative students to plan FAU’s on campus student events.  We provide a large majority of the entertainment seen on campus, including Freaker’s Ball, monthly comedy shows, foam dance parties, hypnotists, concerts, step shows, CarnivOWL’s, fashion shows, theme dinners, poetry slams, and so many more great events. We are looking for fun, creative, energetic, and hard working individuals to join the Program Board team this year. We are always looking for new ideas and more people who are looking to make The Board a success!

Program Board is led by a student director is comprised of 6 committees with each committee chaired by a student chair who is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of their events. Each committee is made up of student volunteers that meet weekly to discuss past, current and future programs. The Chair of each committee meets weekly at the SG Program Board meeting to vote on all proposed events. Program Board is operated and funded by the student body through A&S Fees. Program Board is a program of Student Government and is advised through the Office of Student  Involvement &  Leadership.

If you are interested in serving as a Program Board Member Volunteer, please complete a Volunteer Member Application and drop it off to the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, UN 203.Applications are due by Friday, September 30. Volunteer Members are appointed on a yearly basis.
