STUDENT LEADERSHIP INSTITUTES
BE THE CHANGE 2011

Focusing on the social change model of leadership, the 2011 Student Leadership Institute will prepare you to “Be the Change” for your community or organization. 

Members of the institute will work in small groups (maybe your whole organization should do this!) facilitated by professionals and current student leaders who will motivate, challenge and support you in your journey of leadership development. 

In the end, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire change at FAU or in your organization.

Confirm your attendance by uploading a letter of support to this website by Wednesday, 1.19.11 and commit one of these meeting times:

                Mondays | 3:30pm-5pm |1.24.11-2.28.11
                Fridays | 10:30am-12pm | 1.28.11-3.4.11

A faculty, staff or FAU student leader, who can describe your leadership potential, should write your letter of support.  This letter may address any of the following areas:

• Candidate’s current leadership position(s) and/or roles on campus
• Candidate’s achievements in making positive change and/or impact at Florida Atlantic University
• Candidate’s desire to make a positive change and/or impact at Florida Atlantic University
• Candidate’s interest in leadership development
• Candidate’s ability to effectively lead or work in groups
