Alicia was named Director of Student Involvement & Leadership in January 2012 and now provides leadership to three primary areas within SIL: L.E.A.D. (Leadership Development & Education), Student Organizations & Activities, and Fraternity & Sorority Life. Alicia began at FAU in 2008.
Alicia received her Bachelor’s degree from Western New England College in Business Management with a concentration in Leadership. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida in College Student Affairs.
Alicia enjoys international travel, tennis, Indian food and the Boston Celtics. |

David recently moved to the Boca Raton campus in January 2012. He currently oversees Fraternity & Sorority Life and advises Student Government Program Board.
David received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Elon University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University. He began his career in Student Affairs in 2001 at the University of Florida as the Assistant Director for Greek Life. From there, David moved on to become an Assistant Dean of Students for Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of Virginia where, in addition to advising the Fraternity & Sorority community, his responsibilities included serving on the on-call crisis management team, serving on the University diversity committee, and overseeing the Students Educating and Empowering For Diversity (S.E.E.D.) Program. David has served as the Assistant Director for the Southern Region of National Panhellenic Council (NPHC), Inc. and has been involved with the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA), American College Personnel Association (ACPA), and National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). He is also a graduate of the Social Justice Training Institute (SJTI) and has participated as a facilitator with LeaderShape. |

Keith Hembree Assistant Director, Fraternity & Sorority Life (561) 297.3735

Keith Hembree serves as the Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life at Florida Atlantic University. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and he earned his Master’s Degree in Counselor Education & Student Affairs Administration from Mississippi State University. Aside from his full time role on our campus, Keith is active within the University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association, Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) serving on the Education and Programming Committee, UIFI Facilitator, and a member of the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA).
Keith's key areas of responsibility include: direct advisement of the CPA and member chapters, liaison to all CPA chapter advisors and to CPA inter/national organizations including on-campus CPA HQ staff visits; CPA Recruitment Administration; direct advisement of the NPHC and member chapters, liaison to all NPHC graduate chapters/ advisors, and liaison to NPHC inter/national organizations; Risk Awareness and Education; Scholarship Initiatives; and advocacy for Greek Organizations at FAU.

Katie Burke was named Assistant Director of L.E.A.D. in February of 2012 assuming responsibility of the leadership education and development programming for Student Involvement & Leadership, the area of student organizations, advisement of the Council of Student Organizations, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society and more.
Katie began employment at FAU in the summer of 2008 as the Graduate Assistant Director of the Boca Raton Graduate Council. After graduating with her Master’s, she was hired as the Specialist for Student Involvement & Leadership, then moved to Coordinator for L.E.A.D in July of 2011 and was promoted to the Assistant Director of L.E.A.D in the spring of 2012. She is extremely passionate about working with students and proud to be a part of all of the changes made in Student Involvement & Leadership at FAU.
Katie received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Communication and Multimedia Studies from the FAU. She is also a Certified Facilitator of The Student Leadership Challenge™.

Mike Burdman grew attached to FAU in 2006 as an involved undergraduate student leader. Immediately after graduating in 2009 with a degree in Studio and Graphic Arts from the College of Arts and Letters, Mike began working for the Office of Alumni Relations as a Graduate Assistant overseeing the Student Alumni Association, prOWLers and FAU Student Ambassadors. Mike was then hired as the Coordinator of Student Government in 2011. Known around campus as one of FAU's biggest and most dedicated fans, Mike is responsible for creating several lasting traditions at FAU including the Annual Fall Bonfire and also installing the Taylor Victory Bell in 2010. Mike uses his love for art and his creativity to produce exciting events and programs for the students while serving now as the Coordinator of Programing for the Department of Student Involvement & Leadership. Mike is currently responsible for overseeing Program Board, the Mascot Program, Night Owls and the marketing and promotion of campus activities. Mike is also the designer of most of the departments marketing materials, flyers and annual calendars.
Mike is scheduled to graduate with his Masters in Higher Education and Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in 2013.

Tania Paini became the Fraternity & Sorority Life Graduate Assistant for Student Involvement & Leadership in August 2011. She advises Up ‘til Dawn, Order of Omega, the Fraternity & Sorority Life Ambassador Program and moderates the Fraternity & Sorority Life technology efforts.
She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in Psychology and minored in Leadership Studies and American Studies. Currently, Tania is enrolled in the Higher Education Leadership master’s program as an aspiring Student Affairs professional. She is passionate about Fraternity & Sorority Life and Leadership Development.

Ashley is the Graduate Assistant for L.E.A.D. in Student Involvement & Leadership. She coordinates the Read to Lead: Leadership Reading Circle program and the Certified Student Leader program.

Krystal Muckle is the Graduate Assistant for Student Government Program Board. She co-advises the Program Board chairs and assists with the planning, marketing, budgeting, and implementation of Program Board events. She also coordinates leadership development and training programs and assists in personal/professional development through retreats, student selection process, weekly program planning meetings and one-on-one meetings.
Krystal received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and minored in Political Science. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Higher Educational Leadership and aspires to be a Student Affairs professional.
Krystal enjoys dancing, traveling, shopping, beautiful days on the beach, and spending time with friends.

Devin has served as a Coordinator in Student Affairs at FAU’s Jupiter Campus since January 2012. She currently oversees Campus Recreation, Health Promotion and Wellness and advises the Council of Student Organizations on the Jupiter Campus. She had previously been a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership at the Boca Raton Campus.
Devin earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Leisure, Youth and Human Services with a focus in programming and youth development. She obtained her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership: Higher Education from FAU.
Some of Devin’s interests include running, reading and thrifting.

Peggy received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership: Higher Education from FAU. Peggy joined the Jupiter staff in October 2012 overseeing the areas of Student Involvement & Leadership, Multicultural Programming, and Weppner Center for Civic Engagement & Services.
Peggy enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, reading, and is a food enthusiast.

Frédérique Frageis currently the Associate Director of the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership at Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Broward Campuses. Ms. Fragé received a Bachelor’s Degree in History at the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration/Student Affairs from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Fragé has worked in the field of Student Affairs since 2006. Prior to her current position she served in the FAU Offices of Multicultural Affairs and International Students and Scholar Services as the Designated School Official (DSO). In addition to her duties with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, she is the primary liaison to the Broward Campuses for theWeppner Center for Civic Engagement and Service, and supervises the coordination of activities and programs for the students of the FAU Broward Campuses.
