MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
Collegiate Assistance Program (24-hr Nurse Triage)
All students have access to nurse advice and health information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 866-281-9725. The Collegiate Assistance Program is staffed by Registered Nurses who can help students determine if they need to seek medical care, understand their medications or medical procedures, or learn ways to stay healthy.
If serious injury or illness occurs on campus, notify 911.
Paramedics and ambulance service will be notified immediately. Give building or location where aid is needed, specific location within the building, type of problem, individual's condition, sequence of events and medical history, if known. Have someone stay with the patient until help arrives. Do not move the patient; keep the patient still and comfortable. Once help arrives, stay out of the way unless assistance is requested.
Registered students with minor illnesses or injuries should be referred to the Florida Atlantic University Student Health Services available on or near the following campuses: (Proof of enrollment and a valid photo ID are required)
