Eligibility

Eligibility for care at Student Health Services (SHS) is based on the student’s registration and payment of tuition, which includes the mandatory per credit hour Student Health Fee for the semester. All students enrolled in classes and who have paid the health fee are eligible for services.

Procedures are in place to address the specific needs of special population including participants in the Intensive English Program, the Program for Academic Readiness (PAR), and Visiting Scholars. Student Health Services offers limited immunizations and related services for non-registered prospective students to enable them to receive State-mandated immunizations prior to registration for classes. Call 561-297-3512 for more information.

University employees attending courses only under the FAU Employee Educational Scholarship Program do not pay the health fee and are not eligible for services at SHS.
