Student Health Services
Fees and Payments
Your student health fee is part of your semester tuition and provides a registered student access to student health services for the semester enrolled and supports services provided, regardless of your health insurance coverage status.
A general medical office visit is $5 per visit; physical exams, annual gynecological exams, laboratory and diagnostic services, procedures and treatments, pharmacy services, immunizations, medical supplies and equipment, etc., have fees for service that are charged to the student. Before leaving the student health center, please check out at the front desk.
Payments:
Please note that any unpaid portion of your charges or charges not covered by the University sponsored insurance plan will be billed to you through your FAU student account.
You may pay online through your Banner student account in MyFAU or at the Cashier's Office on any campus, where cash, check or certain credit cards are accepted. Missed or cancelled appointments:
If a student needs to miss his/her appointment, please call our appointment scheduler at (561) 297-2276. You must cancel your appointment by 5 PM the workday prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a fee being placed on your student account. A $10.00 fee will be charged for missed medical appointments and $20.00 for missed dental appointments or for any appointment scheduled for 40 minutes or more.
