Do you want to get involved on campus??? Do you like planning events? Now you have the chance to do both!!! Student Government Program Board is looking for several motivated and creative students to plan Florida Atlantic University’s on campus student events. “THE BOARD” is comprised of 7 individual committees. Each committee is chaired by a student coordinator who is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of their events. Each committee is made of student volunteers that meet weekly to discuss past, current and future programs. The Chair of each committee meets weekly at the SG Program Board meeting to vote on all proposed events. Program Board is operated and funded by the student body through A&S Fees. Program Board is an agency of Student Government and is advised through the Office of Student Development & Activities. Click here for Student Government Program Board ApplicationGet Involved! College is a total living and learning experience, incorporating both academics and personal growth. As you will soon discover, academic and personal growth can be enhanced by involvement in student organizations and activities. You choose to attend FAU for quite a few reasons. Some reasons may have been the quality of our academic programs, our location in a metropolitan area, or proximity to family or friends. Now that you are here you will find many opportunities to make your college experience even more fulfilling. No matter what time of day or which day of the week it is, there is something in which you can get involved in. By joining one of FAU's 150 student clubs and organizations you can make the campus feel like a smaller place. You have the opportunity to make new friends outside the classroom. You can develop leadership, management and interpersonal skills by taking on responsibilities within your student organization. Most of all, you can contribute something worthwhile to yourself and the FAU community by being an active part of it! Club Registration 2008-2009 ALL Clubs and Organizations MUST re-register for the 2008-2009 academic year by Friday, September 12th at 5pm.
