Becky Mulvaney who coordinates the Department’s Speakers’ Corner (a series of student debates and forums), has teaching and research interests in gender, ethnicity, and power, the rhetoric of social movements, the rhetoric of music and dance, and rhetoric and democratic practices. Recent publications include the coauthored book Women, Power, and Ethnicity: Working Toward Reciprocal Empowerment and the essay “Gender Differences in Communication: An Intercultural Experience.”
