Wednesday, September 16 RAIN Training: "The First Three Minutes" Presented by: Deputy Chief Totten, FAU Police Dept. 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Davie – LA 243
Learn the R.A.I.N. Model of crisis response: how to properly RESPOND to an incident on campus, quickly ASSESS the situation, ISOLATE yourself from harm, and NOTIFY emergency responders. One hour session includes 30 minutes of instruction and 30-minute site walk through the Liberal Arts building. Program was developed by University Crime Watch.

Come visit the fair and meet over a dozen vendors representing personal and community safety. Ride the FHP Convincer, pick up handouts and free gift giveaways. Find out answers to your questions about computer safety, road safety and health services.
Carbon Monoxide Detector Give-Away
On September 28, 2008, three people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in an off-campus Boca Raton residence, two of whom were FAU students. The Boca Raton Fire Rescue Department obtained a $27,000 grant to provide free carbon monoxide detectors to qualified off-campus FAU students. FAU EH&S and campus volunteers will be distributing detectors at the following locations:
