visit from Dr. G. Jack Allen, SACS Coordinator
committees begin data collection and gathering of other information; meet with individuals, departments, college, programs and centers as needed
reference document assembly and cataloguing begins
Summer / Fall 2000   -    Initiate Writing of Committee Reports
all committees begin writing
additional data and other information gathered as revealed by writing
Spring 2001   -    Complete Committee Report Drafts
report drafts completed and submitted to Director by end of spring
reports assembled into draft of complete self-study
Summer / Fall 2001   -    Complete Self-Study
Editorial Committee edits draft into final form
text design completed
self-study printed
self-study submitted to SACS in December
peer team chair visit
Spring 2002   -    Site Visit
prepare for visit by SACS peer review team
visit takes place (March)
peer review draft report received; checked for errors in fact
Summer / Fall 2002   -    Completion of Process
final report of peer review team received
FAU response prepared and submitted
reaffirmation at December meeting of SACS
