FLC EVENTS
The following events are being organized by the Retention team specifically for students in Freshman Learning Community programs! Be sure to check them out - they're free, they're fun, and they're just for you!

Thursday September 6th: 2:30-6:30pm GET REC'D with CAMPUS REC!
  - meet at the Retention Office (UC 131) to head over to the Housing Lawn
  - we're taking students over at 2:30, 3, 3:30, 4, and 4:30!

Wednesday October 17th: 12-1pm MIDSEMESTER FLC REALITY CHECK
  - Is your semester slipping away? Are you unsure of what your grades are?
  - Come assess your academic progress, and learn techniques and strategies to turn it all around!
  - There is also an opportunity for you to get advice from returning students!
  - Snacks will be provided!

Monday November 5th: 12-1pm SPRING REGISTRATION WORKSHOP & MUNCHKIN BRUNCH
  - Are you ready to register for Spring classes? If not, be sure to come to this informative workshop teaching you how to search, select, and register for Spring 08 classes!
  - Students are reminded that they are still required to meet with their Academic Advisor prior to actual class registration (which will occur shortly after this workshop is presented)

Monday & Tuesday December 3rd/4th: all day FINAL STRETCH OPEN HOUSE
  - You're almost there, finals are just around the corner!
  - Stop by the Office for Student Retention (UC 131) for a quick snack and to pick up some stress-busting tips!
