Where: Delray Beach Marriott, Delray Beach, FloridaOn Tuesday and Wednesday, May 20 and 21, 2008, Florida Atlantic University’s Division of Research will sponsor a two-day IACUC Training Course at the Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, Florida--with contributions from the National Institutes of Health, Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare, (OLAW); the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (A A ALAC), and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, (USDA), Animal Care.
The IACUC 101 and IACUC 201 PLUS is a two-day didactic and interactive training course for new and current researchers, IACUC committee members, administrators, trainers, veterinarians, animal care staff, research staff, and institutional regulatory personnel from universities and other members of the biomedical research community responsible for with maintaining the highest level of care of laboratory animals.
