The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is located on the first floor of the office building located between the College of Medicine and College of Science on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University.

The CRU is a state-of-the-art core research space specifically designed to conduct clinical trials, longitudinal studies and patient-oriented research projects.

The CRU mission is to provide a comfortable, safe and effective environment to conduct professional, high-quality research involving human participants. This is achieved by providing the necessary environment, equipment and personnel to optimize research goals.

The CRU includes:
Comfortable waiting room for participants and families with computer workstations

  • 3 infusion bays
  • 4 exam rooms
  • 2 rooms for private testing
  • Biospecimen processing facility

Our services include:
Protocol review for implementation

  • Exam and interview room use
  • Vital signs
  • Phlebotomy
  • EKG
  • Study coordination (initiate, implement, and close-out)
  • Sample processing, storage and/or shipping
  • Additional services and support upon request
