Implementation
Our Distinction through Discovery QEP is already “making waves” in the FAU community. Several initiatives have already been put in place. New initiatives are currently in development, all with the ultimate goal of expanding this culture of undergraduate research and inquiry. As we pilot some of these initiatives, we encourage faculty, staff, and students to provide feedback on this process, and solicit information about participating.
Step 4: QEP Pre-Implementation (Fall 2012 - Spring 2013)
- Modify proposed QEP as necessary to meet SACS requirements
- Identify potential QEP implementation leadership
- Implement data collection system
- Develop budget requests
- Administrative support
- Planned implementation activities
- Develop ongoing QEP communications with university community
Step 5: QEP Implementation (Fall 2013)
- Activate the implementation management structure
- QEP Committee
- QEP Executive Director
- Action, identification, and implementation process
- Hire appropriate personnel
- Develop a financial plan
