After careful and thoughtful deliberation, the QEP Team selected three finalists:
- Integrating an Honors Undergraduate Research Focus at FAU – pre-proposal submitted by Donna Chamely-Wiik (dchamely@fau.edu) and Jerome Haky (hakyj@fau.edu), et al. QEP focus: Integrating and expanding a "culture of research" into the undergraduate curriculum through a seamlessly integrated honors program.
- Enhancing Students’ Writing Abilities – combines pre-proposals submitted by Jeffrey Galin (jgalin@fau.edu), Sharon Dormire (sdormire@fau.edu), and P. M. Patterson (patterso@fau.edu). QEP focus: Improving the writing and critical thinking of FAU’s undergraduates by building on the best practices of the WAC program.
- Experiential Learning – combines pre-proposals submitted by Catherine Meschievitz (cmeschie@fau.edu) and Lorraine Cross (lcross@fau.edu). QEP focus: Expanding experiential learning opportunities through study abroad and academic service-learning.
The QEP Team wishes to thank those who submitted pre-proposals for consideration. All of the pre-proposals were of very high quality, so the selection of finalists was no easy task.
