Over the next few months, we will be rewarding selected areas for their contribution toward maximizing FAU’s purchasing power. We want to hear about everything you have done to help us increase our bang-for-the-buck. Everything from the use of coupon codes to online rebates and more. Each month we will share these visions with you.

During the next several months, we will recognize one individual for the best idea submitted. Entries will be judged on the following criteria and selected the last Friday of each month:

1. Overall creativity as it relates to maximizing FAU’s purchasing power
2. Applicability toward a widespread implementation of the suggestion

The selected individuals and ideas will be featured on the Purchasing website and the individual’s department or area will receive an HP Business Inkjet 2800, large scale color printer (prints up to 13” x 19”) These printers have a manufacturer’s list price of $499 and have been paid through the printer cartridge recycling effort at FAU.
