- The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and a member of the Florida SBDC Network serving southeast Florida with nine offices from Sebastian to Key West.
- The function of the FAU SBDC is to assist entrepreneurs and business owners who need assistance with small business start-up, expansion or any other issues related to business ownership.
- The FAU SBDC is staffed by Certified Business Analysts who provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL one-on-one counseling to assist clients in achieving their objectives.
- The FAU SBDC offers seminars/workshops for group training on a periodic basis that are either free or at a nominal fee.
- In times of natural disasters such as hurricanes, the FAU SBDC has a lead role in disaster recovery activities including assistance with SBA disaster loans.
