Lawrence F. Glick, Senior Associate General Counsel for the University
Lawrence F. Glick is the Sr. Associate General Counsel for the University, and serves as the primary legal counsel to the Office of the Provost and Division of Academic Affairs. In this role, Mr. Glick advises the Provost, Deans and other academic administrators in all legal matters, including compliance with laws, regulations and policies governing higher education, public records, litigation and public employment. He also serves as the labor relations manager for the University, serving on the collective bargaining teams representing the President and Board of Trustees. In addition, Mr. Glick is the primary legal advisor to the University Police Department, Human Resources, Equal Opportunity Programs and other institutional clients.
Mr. Glick joined FAU in 2005 after working in the Miami and Pittsburgh offices of a national law firm specializing in labor and employment law representing both private and public sector clients. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Glick received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and his juris doctorate from Hofstra University in New York.
