2012 Honors Convocation
President Mary Jane Saunders and Provost Brenda J. Claiborne will host the University's 43rd annual Honors Convocation on Monday, April 16, at 4 p.m. in the University Theater on the Boca Raton campus.
The annual ceremony recognizes the University's most outstanding students and faculty. Students to be honored include University Scholars, the Phi Kappa Phi Scholar, the Stan and Renee Wimberly Scholar, the Distinguished Student Award, the University Club Merit Award, the Fraternity and Sorority Life Scholars and the Student-Athletes of the Year.
The faculty honors include the researchers/scholars of the year, excellence in teaching and advising and the keynote speech from the 2011-12 Distinguished Teacher of the Year, Dr. Deborah Louda from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.
