Congrats, Class of 2018!

This week, we capped off another busy fall semester by celebrating the accomplishments more than 2,700 Owls who graduated during five commencement ceremonies. Graduates ranged in age from 18 to 78, represented 43 countries, and included several FAU High School alumni who received their bachelor’s degrees just seven months after graduating from high school — plus one who received a master’s degree at the age of 18!

I had the great pleasure of presenting an honorary doctorate on alumnus and former FAU president Frank Brogan ’81, a nationally recognized champion of education and lifelong learning. Frank currently serves as Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education for the U.S. Department of Education.

All five ceremonies were webcast and are available to view and download by clicking here .

Congratulations to the Class of 2018, and Go Owls!
