Celebrating the Achievements of Outstanding Young Owls

Over the weekend, the FAU Alumni Association hosted its third annual Outstanding Young Owls ceremony and reception. The “OYOs” recognize graduates under 40 years of age who are making a mark in their professions and communities.

The 2016 Outstanding Young Owls are: Isabelle Clérié, BA ’09, MNM ’11, Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, the developer of a Haitian impact investment fund; Darrel Thomas, BBA ’03, College of Business, assistant city manager and chief operating officer for the City of Weston; Lisa M. Wulf, MURP ’07, College for Design and Social Inquiry, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Right Management, Florida/Caribbean; Matt O’Brien, BAE ’08, College of Education, an area supervisor for the Toronto Blue Jays; Richard J. Viens, BSEE ’99, College of Engineering and Computer Science, chief financial officer at Delivery Dudes; Tyler S. Stubbs, BA ’08, Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, founder of his own law office; Sarah Siebert, RN, CRRN; BSN ’10, MSN ’13, Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, director of nursing for Pinecrest Rehabilitation at Delray Medical Center; and Jodie Gless, MS ’07, Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, wildlife manager at NextEra Energy, Inc.
