Outstanding Young Owls are Flying High!

Florida Atlantic University is all about student success. We take great pride in the achievements of our graduates, especially when they distinguish themselves in their professions at an early age. To recognize graduates under 40 years old who are already making their mark in the world, last year the FAU Alumni Association introduced the Outstanding Young Owls Awards.

The 2015 Outstanding Young Owls are Brooke Dean of the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, who is a certified nurse-midwife and adjunct university professor; Kristina Klaas of the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, who is the Palm Beach Opera’s patron engagement and grants manager; Stephen Orchard of the College for Design & Social Inquiry, who operates a successful real estate law practice; Dr. Justin Perrault of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, who teaches at the university level and is an adjunct scientist at the Mote Marine Laboratory; Jeremy Rodgers of the College of Engineering & Computer Science, who is a team leader in IBM’s Security Innovations Lab and a member of the Boca Raton City Council; Eric Salzman of the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters, who is the controller at 4 Media Central LLC/FSX Holdings; Dr. Gabriel Somarriba of the College of Education, who teaches at the university level; and Cynthia Spray of the College of Business, a licensed Florida architect, interior designer and realtor who is president-elect of Build Palm Beach 2015.

Congratulations, Outstanding Young Owls!
