The Eleanor R. Baldwin House, an elegantly designed University reception center and presidential residence, is Florida Atlantic University's newest landmark. Located on the Boca Raton campus, the Baldwin House adds new dimension to campus life, providing the University with a place of true distinction. Serving as a focal point for FAU, the Eleanor R. Baldwin House provides the perfect setting for various university functions ranging from welcoming receptions for incoming freshman, new faculty members, and visiting dignitaries to Homecoming gatherings for alumni and significant milestones.

The Mediterranean-style 14,000 square foot Baldwin House has an entrance that features a tile mosaic of the University seal. This rotunda area is flanked by the Sydney A. Altman Library that houses a collection of FAU books. On the other side of the entrance foyer area is an elegantly appointed receiving parlor. Sweeping stone staircases frame the grand room, an area designed to host larger receptions and sit down dinners sunder the glow of five crystal chandeliers. For small private dinner, the Baldwin House offers a beautiful formal dining room. For informal relaxing and conversation there is a club room with a large screen television. Off the lanai at the rear of the house, guests will discover a bronze three-tiered fountain designed by local artist Bill Klug that depicts the habitat of the burrowing owl, FAU's mascot. A full commercial kitchen fulfills the service needs of the house.
