Welcome to Florida Atlantic University’s Police Department web page.

       It is our goal to provide a safe and secure environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors while striving to be the role model for Community Oriented Policing.  The department serves a population of approximately 30,000 over a wide geographical area ranging from Dania Beach to Fort Pierce. Our main center of operations is located on the Boca Ration Campus and satellite offices are located in Jupiter, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, and Port St. Lucie.

       All locations are staffed with Florida Certified Law Enforcement Officers that are able to provide a full range of police services including, but not limited to, investigating all crimes committed in it's jurisdiction, making arrests, providing crime prevention / community service programs, enforcing all traffic laws, and parking regulations. The department also maintains a close working relationship with other local law enforcement agencies in order to better coordinate our area's law enforcement needs.
