Danielle Sarah Naglieri is from Long Island, NY and studied at the University of Delaware. She graduated with a B.S. from the Lerner College of Business and Economics with a major in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management and a minor in Business Administration. Danielle was involved in a variety of student organizations and worked in the Donor Relations/Special Events office. Upon graduation, Danielle worked in events/hospitality at a boutique hotel in NYC, then accepted a corporate partnership management role at the Florida Panthers/BB&T Center, moving from NY to FL. Later, Danielle was the Director of Corporate Partnerships & Events at SOS Children’s Village – FL, a foster care non-profit. She was proud and humbled by her work/service to the children, but wanted to bring her education, experience and passions back to higher-ed. In Sept. 2015 accepted the position as Event Coordinator at FAU, and in Aug. 2017, Danielle was promoted to Assistant Director of Advancement Events for Institutional Advancement, leading all special events for Institutional Advancement and the President’s Office. Danielle is very involved in the FAU, Boca Raton and South Florida community. She attends many community events/non-profit fundraisers, is a member of professional groups, is an Advisor to FAU's Alpha Xi Delta, and is a Mentor in FAU’s The Mentoring Project. Danielle has always cared about the well-being and justice of others; helping those in need. She identifies as a “Peacemaker” of Barb Schmidt/PMPL. As a young Jewish American Woman, Danielle feels called to and is proud to represent PJHR.
