Balkans Conference

The 2002 International Conference on the Balkans brought together military officials, policymakers, and scholars to discuss a wide range of issues relating to the four Balkan wars of the 1990's.  Organized by the Peace Studies Program, the event was co-sponsored by the University of Bologna and the U.S. Army War College.

Select papers presented at the conference have been published in Jeffrey S. Morton (senior editor) et al, Reflections on the Balkan Wars: Ten Years After the Break-Up of Yugoslavia (Palgrave Macmillan Press, 2004).
