This rule is applicable to all persons who operate or park a motor vehicle on the campuses of Florida Atlantic University. The University Police Department and the Office of Traffic and Parking and individuals designated by the Office of Traffic and Parking, are authorized to enforce Traffic and Parking Rules & Regulations. Regulatory signs and traffic control devices have the force and effect of University Rules & Regulations. Copies of the University Traffic and Parking Rules & Regulations are available from the Office of Traffic and Parking and through the Florida Atlantic University website at http://www.fau.edu/parking The University assumes no liability for vehicles parked or operated on University property. The issuance of a decal, hangtag or permit does not guarantee convenient parking or a parking space.
Any person possessing an operator's license valid in the State of Florida is permitted to operate a properly registered motor vehicle on the campuses of Florida Atlantic University and the Palm Beach Community College-South Campus, collectively referred to as the "campus" or the "University.”
- The University Police Department and the Office of Traffic and Parking and individuals designated by the Office of Traffic and Parking, are authorized to enforce Traffic and Parking Rules & Regulations. - All vehicles driven or parked on University property are subject to the provisions of this rule.
- This rule is in effect twenty-four (24) hours of every day of the year.
- Any vehicle not parked at a meter must display a valid decal, hangtag or parking permit.
