Lot 23 Construction Announcement

Construction is anticipated to start on the Arts& Letters General Classroom Facility, School of Communications and Multi Media Studies Theaters by early July 2009.  

As this project gets under way, the construction fencing will displace some existing parking spaces in lot 23 located south of the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters – Performing Arts Building (PA51).  The displaced disabled parking spaces will be relocated immediately south of the construction fencing with accessible pathways leading to adjacent sidewalks.  It is anticipated that prior to the start of the Fall term, a temporary parking lot will provide additional parking for the displaced spaced in lot 23.

The Performing Arts Building (PA51) will remain fully accessible during construction. The fenced in area will be bounded by Performing Arts (PA51) to the north, Palm Beach Ave to the east, the parking lot cross driveway to the south and Brevard court to the west.
