If you are interested in volunteering for any of the below opportunities, please complete the following brief form:

Become an OPA Mentor

The OPA Mentoring Program is an opportunity for Sophmore, Junior, and Senior parents to partner with incoming Freshman parents at FAU. The purpose of the OPA mentoring program is to welcome incoming families to our family at FAU. These individuals serve as mentors throughout the year as families transition into supporting a collegiate student. Our mentors also assist with local community Summer Send-Offs.

Assist in University Admissions events:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts many exciting events throughout the year, including Open House and Campus Days. These events welcome prospective and admitted students and families to the university to learn more about FAU. The Office of Parent and Family Programs and the Owl Parent Association have an opportunity to meet with these individuals and share our services and stories.

Host a Summer Send-Off

The Office of Parent and Family Programs and OPA enjoy welcoming new students and families to the OWL family. Summer Send-Offs take place regionally and we are seeking hosts in all areas of the country.
