Peer Education Team (PET)

The Peer Education Team (more commonly known as PET) is a Student Government organization that promotes healthy lifestyle choices for the FAU community. PET members are trained by Owls Care Health Promotion staff and assist in planning, organizing, and hosting wellness events, PET Pop-Ups, and campus-wide programs. Some of PET's programs include Breakfast on the Go, Stress Less Week, the Love Your Curves Fashion Show, Heart 2 Art, and It's On Us week.

Members of the Peer Education Team gain vital skills in public speaking & program development (which looks great on resumes for jobs, internships, and graduate school) while educating other students about wellness and having fun. PET members also earn volunteer hours that go directly on their transcripts!
