Biology Research Assistants Wanted!

Dr. Rindy Anderson is looking for motivated students who are excited about field research to help in her research project, Behavioral Ecology and Acoustic Communication in Bachman’s Sparrow. Juan Presenting at 2014 Symposium Abstract Deadline:  February 27th, 2015
Event Date:  April 3rd, 2015
Location: Live Oak Pavilion and Grand Palm Room, Boca Raton Campus
Students engaged in undergraduate research may present their findings either through a poster presentation or an oral presentation. Because of space limitations, a maximum of two students per faculty mentor may present at the symposium.  
 

Annual Broward Student Research Symposium
Event Date: March 27th, 2015
Location: Davie West Building, Davie Campus 
This event features research activities of both Broward graduate and undergraduate students and gives student researchers the opportunity to experience presenting research (planned or ongoing) or course projects. In addition to the awarding of prizes, the event provides a forum for student interaction with faculty and peers while showcasing their work. 

 

Honors College Symposium and Research Day
Event Date: April 10th, 2015
Location: John D. MacArthur Campus, Jupiter
The Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University celebrates the academic achievements of its students for Scholarly and Creative Research. All Wilkes Honors College students are engaged in interesting research and creative activities, including their senior thesis projects. The Symposium showcases honors students and their projects in a one-day event that includes a series of concurrent talks, a poster session, and a visual arts presentation

LSSF Stem Symposium 2014 Life Sciences Symposium
The annual Life Sciences South Florida STEM Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held at Indian River State College, Pruitt Campus on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and will showcase the scientific work of South Florida’s undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), students through student poster and oral presentations. Applications are due by February 20, 2015 by noon, please email OURI at ouri@fau.edu, subject line: Life Sciences Application.Deadline: February 20, 2015.
