Welcome to New Student & Owl Family Programs

The University’s Orientation Program is designed to orient new students and their families to the institution, expose new students to the broad educational opportunities of Florida Atlantic, and integrate new students and their families into the life of the Institution. Our Orientation Program promotes school spirit, student development, and accountability among FAU students and their families by encouraging self-growth, learning, and understanding their own relationship to the intellectual, social, and cultural climate of Florida Atlantic University. University Orientation is offered over the summer for students enrolling in the Fall semester and November through January for students enrolling in the Spring semester. Procedure for Walk-in Students

Walk-in students are accepted at orientations if the orientation session is not closed. Walk-in students will be required to register and pay for Orientation prior to being accepted into the Orientation program. Payment is only accepted on-line by credit card or webcheck.  Students should bring either of the two forms of payment to Orientation. The Reservation/Pay site will be available for walk-in students on the day of the Orientation. If the session is closed, walk-in students may not be accepted.
