We're excited for you to join the FAU community. Orientation for incoming transfer students is a one-day experience. This is the opportunity for transfer students to meet with their academic advisor, learn more about FAU, and to connect with other new students.
The Transfer Orientation session includes an appointment to meet with an academic advisor from your college. Seats at each transfer orientation session are limited by college and major, and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to log in to your MyFAU portal to make your orientation reservation. Remember, attendance at an orientation is required for all incoming transfer students, so sign up early.

For greater course availability, select an early Orientation session. You should attend an Orientation on the campus at which you intend to take the majority of your course work. (Your specific major MUST be offered at the campus where you attend Orientation for us to best advise and register you for classes). Boca Campus: All majors EXCEPT Architecture, Computer Arts in Animation, and Urban & Regional Planning Davie Campus: All majors EXCEPT Anthropology, Architecture, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Geography, Holocaust and Judaic Studies, Languages, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy, Physics, Theatre, and Exercise Science. John D. MacArthur Campus (Jupiter): ONLY majors in: Accounting; Arts & Humanities; Criminal Justice; Elementary Education; English; Exceptional Student Education; Exercise Science; Finance; History; Management; Marketing; Nursing; Political Science; Psychology; Public Management; Social Science and Social Work

Transfer FeesThe orientation fee is $45 for transfer students. Students must submit a payment to complete the reservation. Guests may also attend the Parent & Family orientation program. The cost for a guest is $20.
Refund PolicyAll refund requests must be submitted via email to orientme@fau.edu ten (10) business days prior to the reserved orientation session. Requests sent after this deadline will not be considered. The orientation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable after this deadline. No refunds are processed for students or guests who are no shows to orientation.
