Students who wish to complete virtual orientation must be a transfer student with 30 credits or more.
Virtual Orientation is ONLY available for students who are:
-E-Learners
-Late Admits (admitted one week prior to classes beginning)

Virtual Orientation will be available to register for, one week before classes begin through the end of the drop/add week.

Note: Students will not be able to register for classes until they complete orientation.

If you meet the requirements needed to complete the Virtual Orientation you will be able to register for it by completing an Orientation Reservation Form, within the dates listed above.  These electronic forms can be found by logging in to your myFAU account and selecting the Students tab.
Once we have verified that you are qualified to take Virtual Orientation, you will receive an e-mail including an access code required to complete the Orientation session.  This e-mail is sent to your FAU e-mail.   Once our office verifies that you completed the Virtual Orientation with a 100% on all quizzes and submitted the Virtual Orientation Completion form, you will receive an e-mail confirming successful completion and removal of your Orientation hold.

Refund Policy

Yes, you can receive a refund for orientation.  Our office must receive the request in writing either by mail or e-mail before you access the Virtual Orientation.  Our office e-mail is orientme@fau.edu and our office address is 777 Glades Rd, Student Union 220, Boca Raton, FL 33431
If your written notice for refund is given after you have accessed or started the Virtual Orientation you will not be able to receive a refund.
