Office of New Student and Owl Family Programs wishes to
make Orientation sessions accessible to people of all
abilities. If you need a reasonable accommodation to

Please make your needs known 7 days prior to the
orientation to allow sufficient time for effective

Reservation
forms for all new Undergraduate Students

Space
at each orientation session is available on a
first-reserve basis until sessions have reached their
maximum capacity.
At that
time, sessions will close.

Once
the reservation and payment have been approved by the
Office of New Student and Owl Family Programs, students
will receive a confirmation e-mail through their MyFAU
e-mail account.
If your
reservation and payment are not approved, you will
receive an explanation of denial.
Reasons for
denial may include but are not limited to: registration
for wrong semester session (registering for summer when
you are a fall student), invalid credit card, etc.

If
your credit card is denied for payment, your reservation
will NOT be accepted.
You must
then re-enter the reservation form and try again.

Freshman
Students:
Charges
collected for student and parents/guests for Orientation
are used to fund publications, breakfast, lunch and the
program.
These
charges can be paid on-line by credit card or webcheck.
The charges
are $75 for Freshmen students and $45 per fall
students’ parent/guest.
Refunds:
Refunds
will only be considered if a WRITTEN request is
post-marked (send through US Postal Service) to our
office at least ten days prior to your student's
scheduled orientation date.
No requests
will be accepted in person or via telephone.
No refunds
will be given if notification is not made ten days prior
to the session.
Missed Orientation
Dates:
No
refunds will be given without written notice 10 days
prior to your scheduled orientation date.
If you miss
your orientation session, you must go to the reservation
form/pay site and register for orientation again.

Parents,
you will spend some parts of orientation with your student
but we have special sessions created for parents also.
While Freshman
Orientation is required of all students Parent Orientation
is not required for all parents.
Transfer
Students:
Charges

to fund publications, drinks and snacks, and the program.
These
charges can be paid on-line by credit card only.
The charges
are $45 for fall students. Guests are free of charge.
