If you or your family members need hotel accommodations during the Orientation program, several hotels are in close proximity to our campus. To ensure availability of rooms, make early reservations directly with the hotel you select. When making reservations mention that you are attending FAU’s Orientation program to receive the special discounted price. New students and their family/guests are invited to stay in one of FAU's Residential Halls during select orientation dates.
On-Campus Orientation Housing is available ONLY for the following Orientation dates: Tuesday & Wednesday June 10-11, 2008 (Check-in available Monday, June 9th) Friday & Saturday July 18-19, 2008 (Check-in available Thursday, July 17th) New students who take advantage of this option will be accommodated together in suites of four. Family guests who choose to stay with us will be accommodated in suites with other families. Lines, pillow and towels will be provided and are included in the cost, detailed below.
Students will be able to stay in University Housing during the select Orientation programs only. A list of hotels is provided for your convenience on all other dates. The cost to stay on campus during the dates listed as overnight dates is $50 per family per night. Payment must be made by check or money order made payable to FAU Housing when you check-in at Heritage Park Towers. Overnight housing charges are not included in Orientation Fees. The Boca Raton Campus is located at 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431. From I-95 exit Glades Road (exit 45) and travel east approximately 1 mile. The campus is on the left side of the street. From the Florida Turnpike, exit at Boca Raton (Glades Road exit #75), turn east and proceed approximately 5 miles to the FAU entrance on the left side of the street. Refer to your confirmation e-mail for the specific location of your Orientation Session. |
