Freshman Orientation Checklist
Orientation begins with check-in at the times listed below. Please be on time so that you can pick-up your Orientation materials and get the most from your time on campus!
Please be advised, attendance at all sessions during your given Orientation is mandatory.
Remember, Orientation is a two-day session so we ask that in planning, do not make travel arrangements or other appointments until after the program ends on each day.
Summer & Fall 2012
(Boca Raton Campus)
Freshman Orientation is $75. Overnight Accommodations: $35** per night.Guests are $55.
**Overnight is mandatory, during the first night of orientation, for all students.
Guests/Parents are not allowed to stay overnight on campus during orientation.
Note...Orientation dates will close once they are full. We also close orientation reservations 2 days prior to the orientation date.

Parents, you will spend some parts of orientation with your student but we have special sessions created for parents also. While Freshman Orientation is required of all students Parent Orientation is not required for all parents.
Refund Policy
Yes, you can receive a refund for orientation. Our office must receive the request in writing either by mail or e-mail 10 days before your scheduled orientation in order to receive the refund. Our office e-mail is orientme@fau.edu and our office address is 777 Glades Rd, Student Union 206, Boca Raton, FL 33431
If your written notice for refund isn't given within the time listed above then we will not be able to process a refund. If you miss your orientation date, you will have to reschedule and pay again for another orientation session.
