Requirements of the position

  • 2.75 cumulative GPA and a 2.5 semester GPA
  • Enroll in LDR 2010, Introduction to Leadership course in the Spring 2016 semester, or have already completed the course with a B or better.
  • Complete O.W.L. Spring training (2 hour weekly meeting)
  • O.W.L.s will not be allowed to take courses or work an additional job during the Summer 2016.*

Application Steps

  1. Review the Orientation & Welcome Leader position description (Page 1 of the Application).
  2. Complete the online application.  You will list a reference that will be contacted via email by our office to submit an online reference for you.  Please contact them prior to submitting your application.  Applications are due by Friday, October 23rd by 5:00 p.m.
  3. After your application is complete, come to the Student Union, Suite 204 and sign up for a Group Interview night by Friday, October 23rd at 5:00 p.m.
  4. Complete your co-curricular transcript (found on Owl Central) and bring it to your group interview.
  5. Attend your Group Interview session.  Group Interviews will take place on November 2, 3 & 4th.  All applicants must complete one Group Interview session.
  6. Applicants will be notified by November 5th if they will continue on in the process.
  7. Complete an Individual Interview.  These will take place in early-to-mid November.
  8. Applicants will be notified by Friday, November 20th regarding their final status.
