Certificate in Health Care Management
This twelve (12) credit program is
designed for health professionals seeking graduate training in health
administration but not necessarily a graduate degree. This includes
individuals who already have a Master's degree but no courses in health
management, those considering a Master's degree but unsure if they will complete
the degree, and those who are simply seeking to enhance their health management
skills. This program can be completed in two (2) semesters.
Prerequisites:
Master's Degree in a management-related field OR
One year of health administration experience with at least one course in management, one course in marketing and superior undergraduate performance

Health Research & Policy
Health Organization
Health Strategy & Marketing
Health Law & Ethics

Certificate in International Business
The
certificates are essential parts of the FAU International Business Education
Initiative developed by the College of Business, the Open University and
Continuing Education, and the College' International Business Executive Advisory
Board. International Business programs are offered on all Broward and Palm Beach
campuses. The wide variety of courses included in the program are taught by
professors with many years of teaching, research and business experience. The
12-credit Certificate is designed for both business and non-business majors. It
is a timely and cost effective way to acquire International Business skills that
diversify your educational background and make you more marketable in the
workplace.
Graduate Certificate of International Business Certificate Requirements. Participants must complete four “MBA” graduate courses earning at least 12 graduate credit hours. The courses are from the International Business Track of the MBA curriculum.
A. Constrained Electives: Participants must complete at least one of the following graduate courses (3 credits).
1. GEB 6366 International Business Field Experience
2. MAN 6612 Cross-Cultural Management and Human Resources
3. MAN 6615 Managing Effectively in Emerging Economies
B. Open electives: Three additional courses must be taken from the following list of elective courses or from part A above (9 credits).
4. ACG 6275 International Accounting
5. ACG 6525 International Taxation
6. ECO 6706 Advanced International Economics
7. FIN 6605 Multinational Finance
