As part of OIT's refresh program, Northern Technology Services (OIT-NTS) together with OIT’s Instructional Technologies group added a new videoconference facility, AD-2066 , to the Jupiter campus, during the holiday break.
This new VC facility features the latest technology. Two big screens, tracking cameras that follow the professor around the front of the room, new push-to-talk microphones, and flat screen TVs and projectors were installed in the room to enhance the learning experience of both faculty and students. The physical aspect of the room was also improved. The room was painted and newer furniture was added.
With this upgrade, the Jupiter campus has now one state-of-the-art VC facility with the latest technology upgrades. Overall, the Jupiter campus has three VC facilities available to faculty, staff, and students.
