Web Conferencing with Elluminate

8/7/09

FAU has expanded its Elluminate license to include unlimited use, which means that Elluminate can now be used for department meetings, training sessions, presentations and any other setting where participants at different locations would like to communicate and share materials synchronously online.  Elluminate sessions can also be recorded so that anyone who was unable to attend your "live" meeting can watch it later and so participants can go back and review a presentation as many times as they like.

If you are interested in using Elluminate, please submit a helpdesk ticket online at http://helpdesk.fau.edu to request moderator access (allowing you to set up sessions).  You may then register for free online moderator training provided by Elluminate (this consists of three one-hour live sessions or a recorded 20 minute session).

Please note that if you are currently using (or plan to use) Elluminate through Blackboard you do not need to submit a request since this tool is automatically available to instructors.
