Broward Technology Services completed the renovation of the Davie campus Main Computer Lab (LA-303) with the addition of more than 50 new machines.

The lab now has 32 new Dell Optiplex 9010s with 8 GB of memory, Intel Core i5 (3.1GHz), and 256 GB of hard drive space. These machines are what it is known as “all-in-one,” which means that they integrate a high-definition display panel and powerful computer into one device. That provides more working space on the desks so that students can place their books, notes, etc. near their machines comfortably. The 23-inch monitor panel provides a more comfortable display.

In preparation for the upcoming move of the Graphic Design and Multimedia academic programs to the Davie campus, the open lab also purchased 10 new iMacs. These 21.5-inch machines have 16GB of memory, 1TB of hard drive space, and an Intel Core i5 processor.
