OIT-BCS has deployed the new Windows operating system in all public use computers (open labs, instructional computer labs, and e-classrooms) around the Broward campuses. Windows 7 is now the OS in all our public machines. This new OS system provides users with a more robust and stable environment to work.

For new users, Windows 7 maintains the same qualities than Windows XP. The main distinction is that it has a slightly different interface.
