Last Friday, April 16, the 2009-2010 Broward Awards Luncheon took place at the Davie campus.

Members of OIT-BCS staff attended the event, which grouped together for the first time the three traditional awards ceremonies of the campuses: the Broward Achievement Awards, the Broward Student Government Awards, and the Broward Vice President Awards.

Alberto Fernandez, Director of OIT-BCS, received the "Owl Friend of the Year" award. The award was presented by the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership from the Division of Student Affairs. Nancy McCarthy of OIT-BCS was also nominated for the "Staff of the Year" award.

As you can see from the photos below, the event was very well prepared and organized by Broward Student Affairs.
