 OIT-BCS staff participated in this year
s
American Cancer Society Relay for
Life fundraising event as part of the Broward Campuses
team called "
The Sleepwalkers."
The
team, led by
Alicemaude Hernandez from Student
Affairs, raised more than $6,500, making it the top FAU
fundraising team.
An
important part of the fundraising activity took place
on Friday, March 19, in the Glades field at the Boca
Raton campus, where the different university teams
gathered to spend the night.
They
cheered for cancer survivors, and remembered and
honored those who are no longer with us. You can still
