OIT-BCS continued its commitment to the Broward community by recently donating five televisions to the non-profit organization United Way of Broward County.

This unused equipment will be put into service by the United Way of Broward County at the Coalition to End the Homeless, an organization that works to alleviate homelessness in Broward, and at the Women of Tomorrow, a women's organization that helps at-risk girls.

These televisions, originally located in instructional facilities on the Davie and Fort Lauderdale campuses, were discarded as part of the OIT-BCS refresh program, which progressively upgrades technology equipment at the FAU campuses.
