This summer OIT's Broward Technology Services (BCS) completed the transformation of the last set of general purposes classrooms into e-classrooms. A total of 11 rooms were upgraded on the Davie campus with state-of-the art technology, including ceiling-mounted LCD projectors and speakers, teaching consoles with PCs and DVD/VCR players, and Sympodiums. The Sympodium is a new interactive whiteboard technology that allows the instructor to use an interactive pen to write and control the presentation.
